🍄 Temp, Humidity, and Pinning 💜: How to MAXIMIZE Flush! Plus INKBIRD Product Review!

In this video I dispel some myths and common misunderstandings surrounding temperature and humidity in mycology. I also talk about how these two factors, in addition to FAE (Fresh Air Exchange) all play an important role in producing pins, and how they are all connected. Avoid the pitfalls and misinformation out there surrounding these topics, it is a lot simpler than some make it out to be.

The Still Air Box (SAB): Why They're Great, How They Work, and Tips and Tricks

This is a compilation and re-edits of my two SAB videos from the original channel. I had recently rediscovered these in my personal video vault, and realized they are still very relevant today.

But once you understand the basic concepts underpinning how it works, it becomes a lot simpler to understand and use. I hope this video helps you do that.

🍄💜

Sage

P.S. There has always been a lot of misinformation surrounding the SAB, along with a lot of beginners feeling intimidated by it. A lot of misinformed people (and bad actors) have in recent years pushed this idea that you need a flowhood, and a SAB is for beginners or produces lesser results. But in reality, a SAB when used correctly is more effective than a laminar flowhood.

Update 2/7/25: New Video!

(114) Apollensis F3 First Flush! (12.29.24)

In this video I show you all a pre-harvest shot of the F3 Apollensis. So far, every generation has had a very different and distinct performance, and the first flush is no exception. In the case of the F3, they have completely filled out the tub, yet the caps (despite open air fruiting) have not opened at all, not even a little!

And here’s another thing that I will cover in an upcoming video. 2 months into fruiting, they have still NOT PRODUCED A SINGLE SCLEROTIUM. With tamps, I would have had a tub FULL of sclerotia at this point, and even with the Mexicana Ranchos, despite not producing much, they still produced!

Morphology-wise, F3 are closer to the F2 versus the F1, which looked most similar to Ps. tampanensis.

I plan at some point to go back to F1 spores and see if I can get some different phenos for these guys. We will see.

Mush Love everyone!
